The NORA (Network of Organisations for Rights and Autonomy against gender-based violence) call for proposals for the years 2025 and 2026, promoted by ActionAid Italia E.T.S. and the Realizza il Cambiamento Foundation, with co-funding from the European Union under the CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) has approved funding for the project submitted by the Associazione di Promozione Sociale (APS) Giornaliste del Mediterraneo.
The NORA call for proposals was established to strengthen the network of third sector organisations working to combat male violence against women, supporting dozens of proposals for prevention, empowerment and social innovation. Our initiative combines journalism, education, training courses using innovative methods and human rights, and is developed through a female and intersectional lens. The objective is twofold: to combat gender-based violence at its root through primary prevention, and to promote a robust and informed culture (including linguistic awareness) capable of strengthening the critical and operational capacity of teachers (and headteachers) in lower secondary schools
